Living Faithfully With Mental Health Challenges: Why Theology Matters
PYNE LECTURE ON MINISTRY WITH PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

Beginning with the experience of Christians living with mental health challenges, this lecture develops an interdisciplinary dialogue within which different dimensions of the healing process, including the fields of psychiatry and psychology, can come together faithfully as we explore the theology and practice of mental health care. We contemplate the impact of faith on the lives of the caregivers and those cared for as well as how all might become faithful and hospitable people who can learn to live well even in the most difficult of circumstances.

Sponsored by STM and generously supported by the Pyne Endowment Trust in memory of Professor Margaret E. Pyne, a lifelong advocate for persons with disabilities.
